Mirugam, which keeps on hitting the headlines and creating sensation for one reason or the other, is censored today (Dec 8). The movie has been given A certificate by a six member team that had two women in it.

The members suggested 30 cuts to give the film U certificate. Director Samy was not ready to accept so many cuts and hence decided to accept 'A' certificate.

The members wanted the movie to be sent to the revising committee, after seeing the first half. But the second half has, according to a member, moved them and impressed them a lot. They were all in praise for the director. The members also asked the director to mute the sound in some scenes.

The movie is expected to hit the screens soon.
